Our fiction this month is The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. It is my reccomendation which came from my mother. This book is the only one published by this author and I think she is a great writer. The book is described as a gothic suspense novel. The author does a great job decribing things so well that you feel as though you are there with her and the mystery involved it gripping.
Brief Summary: A famous author, Vida Winters, invites an amateur biographer, Margaret, to come and write her never before told story of her life. While deciding if she should write Miss Winter’s personal story, Margaret begins to read her father’s rare copy of Miss Winter’s Thirteen Tales of Change and Desperation. She is spellbound by the stories and confused when she realizes the book only contains twelve stories. Where is the thirteenth tale? Intrigued, Margaret agrees to meet Miss Winter and act as her biographer.
The Non Fiction is Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Relin. I have heard it was so good so we are trying it. There seems to be mixed feelings for the main guy aparently you either really relate and love him or you don't.
